Future Learning’s summer STEAM programme is about much more than incorporating Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths into the afternoon activity programme.
The STEAM workshops engage students’ creative and critical thinking skills in multi-sensory interaction with the physical world and help them develop the language to describe those experiences.
From medieval castles to museums and modern art galleries, Dublin’s vibrant and youthful spirit and easy access makes it an attractive destination to any international guests who would love and appreciate a great céad míle fáilte (one hundred thousand welcomes).
This programme is for learners from age 12-17 who are interested in improving their 21st-century skills of communication, collaboration, creative problem solving and digital information through the medium of English. It gives them an engaging and meaningful context for developing these skills, through a programme that encourages them to engage with other cultures and explore the science, technology, engineering, arts and maths of the world around them in Dublin, at the centre of Ireland’s capital city.
