IALCA is a non-profit organisation established in 1997 and based in Rome. It represents Italian professionals who advise and organise international language and study-abroad programmes. IALCA works to raise industry standards by promoting ethical conduct, transparent services, and quality assurance across all stages of the student experience – before departure, during the course, and after completion. Members are held to a strict code of ethics and regularly assess partner schools. IALCA is also Italy’s official representative within FELCA and received global recognition by winning the ST Star Agency Association Award in 2018.
