ELTA is a non‑profit organisation founded on July 1, 1992, headquartered in São Paulo, Brazil. It unites the leading Brazilian agencies that offer study, internship, and language travel programmes abroad. BELTA certifies agencies through its “Selo BELTA”, awarded after rigorous financial, technical, and integrity assessments; member agencies represent around 70% of Brazil’s international education market.
BELTA engages in activities like annual industry surveys (Pesquisa Selo BELTA), educational seminars, online forums, workshops, fairs, and guides for students and families. It is a member of FELCA and has earned multiple international accolades, including induction into the STM Star Awards Hall of Fame after winning the top StudyTravel association award five times.
